Xiaoxiao Lin

I am a graduate student in the lab of Xiangmin Xu at University of California Irvine. My research focuses on learning and memory neural circuit organization and function. Specifically, I study how specific neuron types are connected in local and global neural networks and how neuronal ensemble activity underlies learning behaviors using new viral genetic and imaging tools. I use mouse models including wild type and Alzheimer’s Disease mouse models.
